They both provide a noise-free environment, the beauty of the caribbean and the rich culture as well as the hospitality of their inhabitants. They are for sure a couple of jewels and future money-makers for the country.
Corn
and Little Corn Island, 50 and 64 km from the city of Bluefields
into the Caribbean Sea, respectively,
are great for those people who don't like crowded beaches. Corn Island
only has a population of 6,000 on it 10 km2 area while Little Corn on
its 3 km2 area only has little more than 200. As a result, there is always
a noise-free environment for those who just want to relax and listen to
just the waves. Not only do these have very few people, but they have
the best one. Its locals have a very good hospitality and most of them
speak English(Jamaican
Style) due to their Brithish/Caribbean descent.![]() However,
what really makes Corn and Little Corn a couple of parasidiacal islands,
is their surroundings. They're surrounded by white-sand beaches, coral
reefs, crystal-clear waters that makes them perfect for snorkeling as
well as diving and not to forget the typical coconut trees. Besides all
of the above, they won't make a hole in the visitors' wallet.
